Fatherhood 039
In all seriousness (such as it is for me), there’s no one more surprised than I at how strongly I’ve taken to Kia. Even just a few years ago, I was entirely uncomfortable with babies and even most little kids. Ten years back, I didn’t even want to touch a baby and certainly had no intention of having one of my own. It still seems kind of surreal at times, to be honestly. Now? Couldn’t imagine life without her and can’t wait to see what’s next. Unless it’s a messy diaper. I can wait a bit for that. 😉
Stacy and I are wearing Mountain shirts with a faerie on a swing and some wolfen art by Goldenwolf, respectively. Kia, meanwhile, has an adorable little outfit that says “Wishes do come true,” which came second-hand to us from a couple of friends with a daughter eight months older than Kia. Very appropriate, I think. 😀
