Okay, the “no wai” thing is pretty new, as Stacy’s been saying that to Kia a lot.  Kia, obviously, has no idea what she’s saying, but she seems to enjoy her mother’s enthusiasm as she says it, so it’s all good.  The other bit comes from a long time back when I held up a stuffed rabbit in Stacy’s face and said “itsha bunneh!”  It makes her giggle, so it’s become a running (hopping?) gag for us.  And, yes, we really do disgust with our excessive cuteness.  Kia’s cuteness is even greater, but she’s a total pro with it; you can’t help but love her.  It’s like a rudimentary mind control.

My shirt proclaims the simple truth that “It’s always darkest right before you step on the cat.”  I believe that one was a gift from my brother.  My cats look far more pissy when I step on one of them than the cat depicted here.  ;P  Stacy’s wearing a Mountain shirt with some great Celtic knotwork and a woman working some magic at the bottom of it, though she’s mostly hiding behind the table.

Kia is appropriately dressed for Zombie Jesus Day Easter (or Bunny Day, if you prefer).  She’s looking utterly adorable in her bunny hat and bunny-themed outfit (complete with bunny faces on the slippers)!  And, yes, she does have a tendency to stare wide-eyed at everything.
