Who cares about the educational stuff, right? Actually, they were really excited to climb up into a train engine, check out the old cars and school buses, and (of course) take part in the Lego towers exhibit, but still… classmates were the top thrill. Only downside to online schooling is a lack of direct contact with the other kids in her class, and since Kia hasn’t met another kid who isn’t her best friend, she gets VERY excited when she gets to hang out with them. To her credit, she is getting better at asking permission to hug before tackling them. Arwyn met fewer classmates, but we did stumble on a couple of them, and she got some friend-time, too. 🙂
I’m wearing my Star Wars battle for Hoth shirt, which you can kind of see – much like my face. Stacy’s got on her green sweater-vest because she likes looking nice (whereas I like looking “acceptable” ;P ), and the girls are ready for bed in their PJs – Moana-themed for Kia, and a kitty precariously perched asleep in a tree for Arwyn.
