Yes, Laurie cheated (or “simplified” if you ask her), and bought a pre-built gingerbread house.  You might wonder where the fun is in that… and I answer with “it’s in having your house still standing after you’re done decorating it.”  Believe me, the girls are not gentle on these things!  Either way, they certainly had fun doing the decorating, and we were certainly feeling the need for real food by the time we were done.  What, you thought we were just gluing all that candy onto the houses without tasting the merchandise?  Please!  We take quality control very seriously!

I’m wearing my Santa Vader sweater, while the girls are all dressed up in their Christmas best (for pictures, naturally), with Kia wearing the blue dress, and Arwyn wearing the purple (because duh).  Their hair looks a lot better when you can see the curls, by the way.  🙂
