Fatherhood

My girls are very helpful.  I keep reminding myself of that so that it’s less frustrating watching them “help” me.  ;P  They mean well, of course, and it’s something I want to encourage in them, even though I know the task will take at least twice as long with their participation, but this is how they learn, right?  Let them do it so that they can learn different skills and feel the appreciation that makes them want to keep helping.  That said, it’s a good thing that I don’t care about the divots in the garden area, ‘cause Arwyn really tore it up.  Go big or go home, right?

My Planet of the Apes-inspired shirt says “Welcome back to Earth.  It’s a mad house!  A mad house!”  Now more than ever, right?  The girls are ready for bed and dressed in pajamas, with Kia’s featuring the characters from Secret Life of Pets 2 (she made sure that I knew it was 2, NOT the first one), and Arwyn’s has a kitten (whose ear you can just barely see) saying “Dreamer”.
