A lot of houses just had buckets or bowls or whatever set out for kids to pick from, and that’s been working well for the past couple years, but it led to another fun exchange that showed the girls being true sisters.  Kia ran up to our immediate neighbours house – the last stop of the night – and loudly noted that the bowl was practically empty.  She wasn’t complaining; she actually stated that “they won Halloween by having their bowl emptied first,” likely just assuming that everyone started with the same amount.  The best part, though, was when she told Arwyn “I got the last Starburst; there’s a loose M&M in the bowl that you can have.”  Yes, a single, loose M&M (and the corner of a package).  Sisterly love.  😀

I’m wearing my X-Files shirt, which seemed appropriate for the occasion, and Stacy’s got her Girl Genius Samhain shirt on, since it’s definitely suitable.  The girls are wearing some post-Halloween attire, since I can’t show off their costumes just yet, with Arwyn in a purple/pink plaid button-up and Kia in a light blue dress that has a nice fancy flair at the bottom which you can’t see – use your imagination!
