Fatherhood

As a wise man (and a wise guy) once said “you must learn patience.”  “Yeah, yeah, how long will that take?”  ;P  But, yes, they’re both VERY excited to finally see their Grandma Mardy after a year and a half.  I’m sure that she’s missed them a lot, too.  I probably rate below the cats, really, but nothing new there, right?  As for Christmas – I’m in no rush; already feeling way too much like winter around here.

The girls are wearing their new, comicon-acquired Tee Turtle brand shirts.  Kia’s features a rabbit with a lot of books and says “this is my happy place” while Arwyn’s says “I’m harmless, I swear” and has the bonus feature of glowing in the dark (except that it’s just a wolfen skull that’s glowing all cutely evil).  I got one, too, but the shirt I’m wearing here is the one I actually wore AT comicon, which is a Firefly-themed shirt that says “Time for some… THRILLING HEROICS.”  It’s just what I do.
