Fatherhood

It was a great time with good weather.  Some of the animals weren’t very active first thing in the morning, but who can blame them?  The otters were their normal, adorable selves; the polar bears got up nice and close to the window so we could watch them eat their fish; the penguins were making more laps than NASCAR; and the humans were sparse enough that they weren’t irritating us.  ;P  The dinosaur animatronics are very cool – not life size, but still very big – and the girls were especially into it since we’ve been watching the animated Jurassic World:  Camp Cretaceous show lately.  🙂

I’m wearing my tiger shirt which was bought at the Detroit Zoo years ago, and Stacy’s wearing her video gamed-inspired Nature’s Prophet shirt.  The girls are showing off the outfits that they got for the 4^th of July, featuring Minnie Mouse on Kia’s and some doll brand thing that I can’t remember the name of on Arwyn’s, both in all their patriotic glory.
