We weren’t really there for too long, just a half-day, but we got to see all the shops and we’ve seen most of the acts before.  Lots of new performers there, though, and a pretty large crew, which was good to see.  Also, when I went to buy tickets, one of the guys working there was giving away tickets for free, so that was awesome.  Let me feel better about spending that cash on stuff for the girls, so we cleared them to buy a dragon-puppet critter each.  They’ve got a long, flexible rod that you slide down your sleeve, and it lets you control the movement of the head while it perches on your shoulder.  Very creative design.  Kia’s is the blue one (shocker!) and has a more traditionally draconic face, while the purple one belongs to Arwyn and looks distinctly feline.  They’re VERY excited about them, which is why they’re shoving them up in your faces.  And, uh, yeah, that’s their hands in my incredibly artistic style.  ;P

My shirt features a fiery dragon because it seemed to suit the theme, and Stacy has on her flowery, purple shirt.  The girls are wearing their Renfest dresses, along with their new pets, of course.
