Fatherhood

SO many stairs.  Seriously, four floors of hotel (pool access in basement), with three of them used for this scavenger hunt thing.  Were there elevators?  Yup, two.  Took them some, but there was a lot of other people using them, so the stairs were ten times faster, especially since the stairs were on the hotel’s wings, so often closer than going back.  There were times when the girls hooked up with a fellow magi aspirant and were literally running from one find to the next.  Why?  Because kids’ energy levels increase exponentially when they gather together.  And who had to keep up with them?  That’d be me.  Oh, and the swim park was a lot of fun for everyone, too.

My shirt features a scene from 20000 Leagues Under the Sea, which was not reenacted at the swim park, thankfully.  Stacy’s shirt provides Faery Wisdom, which suits since there were fae involved in some of the Magiquest missions.  Kia, who only looks short because she’s sitting on my lap, is wearing her Sister-saurus Squad shirt, while Arwyn has a sweater on that has a lot of shimmer and shine going on with it.
