Seriously, the turtle was ridiculously adorable.  That aside, there was a lot of other animals to look at, both living and taxidermied, and it was an all-around educational experience, plus plenty of exercise!  It was a mile walk each way, to and from where they had the maple trees tapped.  Weather was sunny, warm, and dry, but the ground hadn’t had a chance to completely thaw into mud, so we really did hit a sweet spot.  A day before or after would’ve been a messier walk.

I’m wearing a new Firefly-themed shirt, which expresses a feeling that I know all too well:  “It’s a real burden being right so often.”  Seriously, it’s a lot of pressure!  😉  Anyway, the girls are wearing their new Oodies.  They’re basically blanket-hoodies and the girls love them; they’re very warm and very soft, as well as long and loose, so they can bury themselves in them.  They’re not my style, but the cats have also expressed their appreciation by sleeping on them, so worthy looking into if that all sounds appealing.  Arwyn’s has a pattern of very cute otters while Kia’s has unicorns all over it.
