Fatherhood

The Detroit Zoo is always a good time, and while the girls didn’t see many of their classmates there, they did get to meet a couple of kids, and some teachers past and present.  The animals were pretty active and we got some good photos of them, with the wolves and tiger being especially cooperative.  I do have my doubts about the wolf wanting to “play” with the stuffed lemur (and it kept jumping right in front of the kids a few times after the lemur had moved on).  Wonderful to see them up so close!

I’m wearing one of my wolfy shirts (Mountain brand, in this case), and Kia’s got her “I love tigers” rainbow-cat shirt from the zoo, itself.  Arwyn is bucking the animal trend with her shirt that says “I rock this princess life.”  Yup, Princess of Destruction.  😉
