Fatherhood 644
Yeah, Arwyn is less than thrilled, but she’s already getting into the groove of it even if she’d rather be making summer vacation a twelve month experience. Trust me, kiddo, we’d all love to live in a state of permanent vacation. She’s definitely going to have the easier experience this year, regardless, as Kia has to adapt to a new level of expectations now that she’s in sixth. For my Canadian friends and family, grades 6-8 are considered “middle school” here, and they start ramping up the difficulty on stuff, including having dedicated teachers for each subject (which I started doing in fourth 😛 ). It’s a biggish deal. Once she gets into a routine with it, she’ll have it aced, regardless. 😀
I’m wearing my Back to the Future/Nightmare Before Christmas mashup shirt, which is titled “Back to the Nightmare” and seemed appropriate to Arwyn’s feelings on the matter, at least. 😉 Kia’s wearing a nice, blue dress (because blue!) and Arwyn’s wearing a My Little Pony shirt that says “have fun” along with a frowny face that says that she’s not. She’s over it, now, though! 😉
