Herd of cats? Of course, I’ve heard of cats! And a group of them is called a clowder. A group of kids should be called “a chaos,” but that’s neither here nor there. The point is that they had fun but were very easily distracted, and since it was our first time playing that game, it took a bit to figure out the rules. For reference, the game is called Tales From the Red Dragon Inn and it runs pretty smoothly once you’ve got it sorted out a bit, so anyone with even a modicum of patience will be engaged. Which is to say that our two rode the rollercoaster of excited-bored-excited-bored as the turns went by. Oi.
I’m wearing my Godzilla-themed Christmas shirt because rampaging monsters fit in with the girls quite well, and Stacy’s wearing her “All of the otter reindeer” shirt, featuring three adorable otters that are cosplaying. Kia’s wearing her sequined penguins shirt, while Arwyn’s shirt says “We are the change” because… well, I certainly would love to see them be just that.
