Fatherhood

Oh, the tragedy of it all!  Well, what can I say – nostalgia can be a powerful thing, even for kids; happy memories are happy memories.  Those books were used for a lot of bedtime stories over the years.  As for the cleaning?  I’ve been keeping it to bite-size chunks of their room more for my sake than theirs.  The “woe is us” gets annoying rather quickly.    Just wait until we get to the point where we’re chucking/donating old toys, again.  I’ll have to make sure that we’re listening to suitably sad violin music. 

I’m wearing my new TMNT shirt that the girls gave me for Father’s Day, featuring the original animated crew (speaking of nostalgia).  Arwyn’s dress has a unicorn and rainbow pattern going on, while Kia’s got her fox reading shirt from Tee Turtle.
