Fatherhood 117
Green Lantern would be perfect, don’t you think? Anyway, I’m referring, of course to Little People, which is a Fisher Price toy line that’s been around forever. Kia’s got all the DC superhero figures and likes playing with the Batmobile, but she’s also got the more mundane house, car, etc. She does enjoy playing with them… especially Robin’s helicopter (probably ‘cause I make the sound effects for that one, while she makes her own for the cars). Regardless, I’m not convinced that mulched up plastic would make the tastiest of treats, but flavour probably wasn’t a priority. Oh, and for those that might not recognize it, the soylent green reference goes back to a the movie of the same name from 1973. I’ve never actually seen it, but I’ve heard the quote plenty of time: “People! Soylent green is people!” ;P
“Evil keeps me young!” And I’m really good at evil, at least according to Stacy, who’s sporting her shimmery-shiney shirt or purpleness. Kia, chip off the evil block that she is, is wearing a baby Cthulu asking for hugs. And, seriously, who wouldn’t want to hug baby Cthulu? She’s also wearing a little purple bracelet we got for her, which she loves… to wear and suck on. Sometimes both at the same time.
