Fatherhood 175
I knew that being a dad would be hard work, I just didn’t know that it’d be so much exercise! Not that that’s a bad thing, since my workouts are rarely as long as they used to be, every extra bit helps. Of course, I’m generally not actually running with her, just walking quickly – or hopping, or half-ass running – but as quick as she is, her stride doesn’t compete with mine, so she’s easy to keep up with. I just have to be careful to keep myself from getting dizzy along with her. One of these days, going “round and round” with my daughter will probably take on a different meaning, but until then, it’s a good thing. 😉
I’m wearing a shirt I got from the Detroit Zoo featuring a collection of the big cats looking like their normal, marvelous selves. Kia’s wearing a cat of a different colour, being (yet another) Hello Kitty outfit.
No kidding. I got dizzy just from trying to watch her while she was running around ME.
Which seemed to put her in stitches… I guess nobody else has been fool enough to try and track her all the way around over and over recently? XD
Nope, I’m usually chasing her around the whatever. I make a point of doing a counter-spin every now and then to avoid getting dizzy myself. ;P
