Fatherhood 216
Sometimes Kia is too smart for her own good. For instance, I’ll point out the first word of one of her books and ask her what the letters are. Once she’s gone through all the letters, I’ll ask her what the word is and she’ll respond with the full title of the book. She already knows what we call things, so she’s taking short-cuts to get to the answers. It’s going to be a long learning process. ;P When she “gets it,” though, I think she’s going to pick it up really quickly.
The shirt I’m wearing was made by my great aunt which says “Don’t know, don’t care, don’t give a $#!t, doing the best I can.” It’s conveniently censored by my daughter’s head, and it’s not a shirt that I wear to work… anymore. 😉 Kia’s shirt says “Daddy’s little Rebel” and sports an X-Wing fighter on it. And, yes, she knows what movie it’s from. 😀
