Fatherhood

One of these days, the girls will have a concept of how big Canada is.  Right now, it’s just this magical place that all my family lives.  It really was a good time, though, hanging with my parents, cousins, and others, and it kept the girls VERY busy.  When we finally left, the girls both passed out literally within three minutes of leaving the driveway.  Made for a wonderfully peaceful drive… though I was a little concerned about going through customs with Kia doing her best impression of a corpse.  She flops over and goes completely limp whenever she falls asleep in the car, and I can only lift her head back up so many times.  I really wouldn’t have blamed the border guard if he felt the need to check her pulse.  ;P

I’m wearing a Firefly-inspired shirt with a silhouette of the ship and the statement “You are beginning to damage my calm.”  Stacy’s wearing a plaid-inspired shirt in the colours of yellow and grey, while Kia’s is inspired by flowers, and Arwyn’s is inspired by monkeys who say “Loved by my mommy” (let’s face it, she’s loved by everyone).  Not to state the obvious, but we’re all very inspired.
