Arwyn continues to fight learning to talk – or perhaps she just prefers her own language to English – but we have been pushing it a little harder, lately. She will frequently try telling us things, and we’re just over the guessing games, so we just tell her that we can’t understand. She’ll reiterate whatever series of grunts she gave, verbatim, which doesn’t really help any, and get increasingly ticked off that we still don’t understand… which actually gets a little amusing, after a while. 😉
I’m wearing a police box-blue shirt with a TARDIS emblazoned at the top and the statement “Trust me, I’m The Doctor” following beneath; it was a birthday gift from my mother, who has this crazy notion that I like t-shirts. Go fig. Stacy’s also blueing it up (yes, “blueing” is a word, and, no, I’m not using it the way it’s meant to be used) with a slightly darker shade shirt over black. Arwyn’s wearing a colourful butterfly pattern on light blue, and Kia’s breaking the trend with straight-up white, with “Wild at heart” written on it, and some large-eyed animals, two of which she has stuffies of, that came courtesy of Jenny. A white shirt for a toddler… Jenny is crazy. Jenny is also not doing the laundry, so Jenny doesn’t see the problem. 😉
