Fatherhood

Not that the girls aren’t attached to my side after a normal workday – and not to say that I didn’t miss them, because I certainly did – but being gone for nearly six days made the effect significantly more pronounced.  They even hand wrote/drew me a card to say how much they missed me!  It was very sweet.  🙂   Fortunately, I planned for a little make-up time with them, and took a couple of days as vacation, which was spent doing all kinds of stuff with the girls.  I tell you, they wear me out way faster than work does.

I’m wearing my Firefly-inspired “Wash’s Flight School” shirt, not that you can see much of it, past the Klingon invasion force.  Stacy’s wearing her snazzy, lace-sleeved shirt, while Kia’s getting a head start on St. Patty’s day with a shamrock design, and Arwyn’s looking forward to spring with a ruffly, teal and purple outfit.
