Fatherhood

I’m not even sure where she heard that phrase being used, but she managed to find the most absolutely literal way of using it, herself.  After that, I’ll be seriously concerned if Kia tells me that the cat’s got Arwyn’s tongue.  That aside, Kia loves music, including singing, and has already shown a knack for remembering lyrics.  I can’t recall which song it was that was playing on the radio when this conversation came up, but she has sang along with “Exes and Ohs” with respectable accuracy; that’s something that she inherited from me.  Now, let’s just hope that she didn’t inherit my vocal talents, as well; with luck, she got that from Stacy’s side.

I’m wearing a new shirt that the girls picked out for me for Father’s Day:  A Transformers combination logo of Autobots and Decepticons, which is just flippin’ awesome!  Stacy’s shirt isn’t nearly as cool as mine, but the green sweater-type vest over black does look pretty snazzy.
