Fatherhood

If you’re ever feeling overconfident – or even remotely confident – have a five minute conversation with a child, and they’ll make sure to stomp all over your ego.  The best part is that they’ll do it with complete innocence, and not actually trying to be mean, just basically following the “calls it like I sees it” mentality.  Hell, she probably thought that she was complimenting me.  And, of course, Kia had to make sure we knew how funny Arwyn’s comment was.  HAD to.

Not that you can really see it, but I’m wearing my Star Wars Kylo Ren shirt, while the girls are both wearing cute little dresses that Stacy got from Lula Roe, Kia’s with flowers all over it, and Arwyn’s covered in Minnie Mouse; they love them.
