Fatherhood 341
Some of the names that she gives to our little houseguests are just weird, but it’s doing the trick. Bob the spider didn’t bother Kia at all once it had a name, and she will actually say goodbye to named stinkbugs that we evict from the house (box elders and other bugs just get squished, but we’re not taking the chance that a stinkbug will live up to its name). Kia’s even willing to give them names, herself, if it’s not one that creeps her out. She dubbed the ladybug wandering around our dining room ceiling as “Sarah.” Where a ladybug came from at this time of year is anyone’s guess, but she’s still wandering around here, somewhere.
I’m wearing my Mass Effect “N7” hoodie, while Stacy’s keeping it Celtic, with a woman (unseen, here) working some knotwork magic. Speaking of magic, Kia’s wearing an Elsa sweatshirt, proclaiming “Let it go.” Personally, I like the smirky expression on her face on this shirt. Also, she’s holding a beanie baby horse – one of a few dozen that the girls got from Grandma Cheryl, and absolutely love.
