Fatherhood 351
My girls love playing with action figures – I even gave them some of my old GI Joes – but even when they’re on a mission to save someone or a big adventure, it’s still a family affair. There’s always the parents (sometimes male-female, sometimes both female), and the kids, which are usually whatever toys that they have which are physically shorter than the action figures. Probably not a surprise, but they constantly want me to join them, but while I’ll do it, there’s usually a lot of self-entertainment with snarcastic remarks that go over their heads… for now.
I’m wearing my X-Files shirt, featuring some of that truth that’s out there, while Kia’s sweater has sparkly stars on it, and Arwyn’s shirt says “LOVE everyday” in all kinds of fancy, heartified letters. That’s right: Heartified.
