Fatherhood 366
We were watching a movie called “Leap” about an orphan girl trying to break into ballet in 19th century Paris. I pretty much could’ve watched it blind-folded, given the amount of commentary Kia put forth. I know she has a hard time controlling herself – she gets really excited about dancing… and animal videos, and cartoons, and pretty much anything on TV – but we are fighting the long battle to teach her to control herself, and let people watch these shows in peace. That said, I’m willing to hire her out for sporting events, dog shows, and whatever else might need a play-by-play announcer with endless enthusiasm.
My shirt says a lot, but the gist of it is that I’m their favourite superhero. 🙂 The girls got it for me for Father’s Day a couple years back. Kia’s shirt says “Shine Bright” which I think refers to her personality, but given the opportunity and sufficient amounts of glitter, Kia would be willing to make into a physical accomplishment, too.
One of my co-workers has that same shirt. 8)
It’s a good shirt. 🙂
