Seriously, a hint of warning would’ve been nice.  I kept looking around at the doctors to see if any of them were showing signs of concern, but none of them seemed particularly worried by it.  She got her colour pretty much settled within a couple minutes, but it definitely surprised me.  Yes, I should’ve known that the Purple Goddess would produce a child of purple, but that definitely wasn’t brought up in the classes.  Her oxygen levels were perfect, too, so she was really just putting on a show, I think.

I’ve got another Nature Force (http://www.natureforce.ca/) shirt; who knew I had this many of them?  More wolves, because wolves are awesome.  Stacy’s showing her own purpleness with a couple of cats in a yin-yang sort of pose.  She got that one as a Christmas gift from my brother.   Artist is Ray VanTilburg and can be found along with some other nifty shirts at http://www.offworlddesigns.com/

Kia’s wearing one of the few pink outfits we own for her, this one with some nice little flowers across the chest.  I really don’t get the obsession with making little girls wear pink (not exactly one of my favourite colours), but fun fact:  In the early twentieth century, pink was associated with boys and blue was more for girls.  Somewhere along the line, it switched, probably because men decided pink wasn’t manly enough for their sons.
