Fatherhood

First strip of the new year!  This actually happened at a Meijer’s (for those not familiar, it’s like a Walmart, but with a better selection and a little more class ;P ), just after hitting the on-site Bigby coffee.  Kia went straight after her straw, so we figured we’d just give her another one.  Of course, she still wanted Stacy’s, but not as badly.  And, no, I’m not receiving any sponsorship or other funding from Bigby.  If any Bigby management sees this and wants to rectify that, I’d be more than happy to have a cup show up in every strip I make.  ;P

New shirt!  What’s on it?  An 8-bit Ecto1 from Ghostbusters chasing two Pacman ghosts (Clyde and Blinky?).  Yes, they make shirts THAT awesome.  You can get them at thinkgeek.com, which has sucked a loooooot of money out of my bank account in the past couple of months.  ;P  (Some of it was even for gifts.)  Stacy’s wearing a new one, too, which… you can’t really see.  Don’t worry, it’ll come back into rotation eventually.  ;P  It has a picture of a cat and it says “You’ve gotta be kitten me.”  It was a gift from my brother, who loves horrible puns almost as much as I do.  Kia, who hasn’t yet discovered the wonder of puns, but will as soon as she can talk, is keeping it casual in a striped onesy, overalls and purple socks, accessorized with a straw by which no blood has been spilled.  Honest.

I forgot to mention it last week, but there’s a new, holiday vote incentive of Kia looking frickin’ adorable!  So go vote and see it!
