Yes, that’s a mallet in the hands of my eighteen-month-old daughter and, yes, you better believe that I’m covering up.  Oddly enough, she’ll usually bring me the peg board sans the mallet; she likes pushing them down with her hands (often with my help, ‘cause most are a pretty snug fit) and turning it over to start again is generally not allowed.  She simply tells me to push them back up so she can shove them down.  Kia likes to do things her own, special way.  ;P

I’m wearing a tribal wolf pattern that’s pretty snazzy-looking, if I do say so myself, and Stacy’s got one of her forty (give or take thirty-seven) purple plaid shirts.  Kia’s wearing a lovely purple dress with dragonfly print, given to her by my aunt.  It’s still a little big on her, so she might be able to wear it next spring, too.  With the way she’s growing, though, it might be a mini-dress by that point.  The peg board, by the way, is from Ikea.
