Fatherhood 130
I only wish you could hear how sweetly she says “okaaaay.” It’s adorable… and I’m not just saying that ‘cause I’m dad. ;P She started with that a couple months back, then a month or so later added “of course” to her repertoire. Now, she’ll sometimes give one of those answers, then get upset if we try to give it to her, abruptly changing her mind to “no!” When she says “in my mouth,” however, you can bet that she knows what she’s talking about. That’s her version of “shut up and feed me.” And, yes, Stacy and I (and grandma, who babysits Kia weekdays) have picked it up as a catch phrase when we’re hungry. ;P Why? ‘Cause that’s how we roll.
My shirt shows off the ancient technologies of last century… cassette tapes. My mom gave it to me and I have no idea where she found it, but hey, I have no problem giving props to the old-school music systems. Fortunately, I haven’t had any of the younger guys at work ask me what they are. Yet. Anyway, Kia’s adorable little outfit consists of pink corduroys and a shirt that says “C is for cat” (and an undershirt, ‘cause she’s stylish like that).
