Fatherhood

So, Kia and I just finished watching the entire Avatar series during my daily exercises and she’d already watched the whole thing with Stacy.  It’s safe to say that she’s rather fond of the series, as she randomly does kicks (more or less) and declares herself to be fire-bending, and, of course, there was this example of her water-bending skills.  And that to her already-impressive sign-language skills, and this kid’s getting a major education!  On a serious note, I highly recommend Baby Signing Time to all parents of young children.  It’s amazing how fast she’s picked up on it and sometimes signing to her focuses her on the question better.  Also very interactive for the child and parent, so A-plus!

I’m wearing my tiger Mountain shirt I got from the Detroit Zoo (which I greatly look forward to bringing the girls to see in a few years) and Kia’s sporting her blue Ikea smock, which is hands-down the best bib out there.  Why is it so important?  Because she’s also wearing part of her dinner.
