Fatherhood

Kia is a cosplayer in the making.  She absolutely loves dressing up and Halloween is the perfect excuse.  Last year, she was a cat.  This year… she’s a leopard!  No, not a big change, but she picked her own costume (from a set of options), so it’s all good.  She loves pretending she’s a cat (sometimes I wonder how much of it is pretending ;P ) and she was ecstatic about wearing it.  The community event was basically a line where we went by a series of booths for her to trick-or-treat at.  May not sound like much, but it was actually pretty nice and Kia had a blast.  Even got herself a balloon flower out of it!  Plus, we got to hear “Look, it’s a pirate!” “Look at the princess!”  “It’s a turtle!” “Look, it’s Elsa!”  “I see a ladybug!”  “Look, another Elsa!” Etc, etc.  Yeah, lots of Elsas and TMNT costumes.  😉

My shirt states the obvious “I’m making this up as I go along” while Stacy’s wearing a nice, green sweater-vest-thingy over black.  Don’t ask me what they call it.  Kia’s wearing her costume!  The harness is the backpack leash that we put on her to let her have some freedom of movement without being free range (she loves it!).
