Fatherhood

No regrets, believe me – we’re having a lot of fun with this whole parenting thing – it just sucks up 99% of your time, which kind of… sucks.  ;P  I have to imagine that it only gets worse as they get older and start having activities to go to (sports, dance, whatever).  Then they become teenagers and don’t need you, just your wallet.  Jokes on them, though, my wallet has already been commandeered by Stacy!  … Not much of an improvement, really.  Anywho, this was a real(ly random) conversation we had.  As it happened, I didn’t have free time, per se, I was putting away laundry.  The free time is a lie!

My shirt says “If things get any worse, I’ll have to ask you to stop helping.”  A lot of the people I meet at work read it and say “yeah, I know that feeling.”  Stacy’s wearing a Mountain shirt with a leafy dragon on it, who’s feeling kind of shy right now and is staying out of sight.  Arwyn, on the other hand, isn’t she at all and is perfectly happy to show off her Rapunzel outfit… which worked really well for the RenFest, but also looks great for an any day sort of thing.
