Fatherhood

We got Kia a doctor kit long before we ever heard of Doc McStuffin because we both remember very similar sets from when we were kids, and she loved it from the word go.  Since she started watching McStuffin, though (and playing the Ipad game, and getting the toys), she’s been into it pretty hardcore.  She’s got the doctor coat, all the tools, and even a little Doctor is In/Out sign on her door at grandma’s.  She’s also got a lot of patience, despite her frequent impatience, with her favourite subject for giving checkups being yours truly.  Lucky me?  ;P

My shirt is mostly blocked by Batgirl – I mean Arwyn – but it broadcasts my belief that “I didn’t crawl my way up the food chain to eat vegetables.”  Gimme meat!  Kia’s also showing off her carnivorous leanings with a purple, leopard-print outfit (actually, she likes meat, but LOVES berries and fruit of all sorts).  Lastly?  Nana-nana-nana-nana Nana-nana-nana-nana, BATGIRL!  Kudos to grandma for picking that outfit, allowing her to show off her inherent geek factor.
