Fatherhood 236
My comic about books involves a lot of reading; who’d’ve thunk it? Both of the girls love books and love having Stacy and I read to them (who they choose to read seems to involve picking whichever of us is busier with other things), but Arwyn is a weeeee bit rougher on them. Just a tad. I mean, what’s a broken spine between friends? Speaking of books (which Kia abruptly dropped in panel three, there), the first one is called Stories of Dragons, by Christopher Rawson and Stephen Cartwright; the second really is a book about farts, called The Gas We Pass, The Story of Farts, by Shinto Cho; and finally, the book Arwyn is holding is called Peek-a Who? and is by Nina Laden. It’s got one page where there’s a ghost and you say “peek-a-BOOOO!” which Arwyn thinks is right frickin’ hilarious. No, she’s not “boo”-ing her sister. ;P
My shirt has an eight-bit Ghostbusters “Ecto-1” chasing a few of the Pacman ghosts, while the girls are showing off their Halloween shirts. Kia has a mummified black cat, looking all adorable, and Arwyn’s got Hello Kitty in a black cat costume. Meow.
