Fatherhood

Kia does really love to help, especially with preparing food.  She gets very excited about helping make sandwiches, pancakes, and whatever else I’ll actually let her assist with.  Obviously, she can’t help with anything actually involving cooking, at this point, but there’s also some things where – while the intent is honest – her help becomes “help,” with suitable quotation marks and/or sarcasm involved.  She gets that from her mother.

I’m wearing a shirt from Nerdblock (actually produced by shirtpunch.com if you’re interested in checking out other awesomely geeky shirts).  It’s another mash-up, called “Back to the Nightmare” which combines Back to the Future and Nightmare Before Christmas… because why not?  Kia’s sweatshirt has a very sparkly unicorn and says “Shine bright.”  As sparkly as it is, I bet it poops rainbows.
