Puns and I are like BFFs, we go waaaay back.  I didn’t even realize that they were considered “dad jokes” until relatively recently, but I’m more than happy to put my punnery skills to good use; I look forward to indoctrinating my daughters into the belief that puns are an art form.  😉  What made this one even better was that, maybe an hour or two earlier, we had been talking about people who say “pacific” in place of “specific,” so she knew EXACTLY what I was getting at.  It was the perfect set up!  It just had to linger in antici

A Father’s Day gift shirt worn while making dad jokes on Father’s Day?  Booyah!  Stacy and the girls got this one for me.  It says “Daddy” down the right side, then the rest says “You are as smart as Ironman as strong as Thor as fast as Flash & as brave as [Batman logo].  You are our favorite superhero.”  Other than misspelling “favourite,” I love it.  😀  Oh, and Stacy’s wearing a new one, too.  A nice, green, short-sleeved shirt that’s perfect for the summer, and has some funky design work down the bottom that you can’t see here.
