Yep, we’ve got the Firefly board game and had ourselves a good time giving it a test drive with our friends Wren and Patrick!  I’m looking forward to getting some more time with it (and them) now that we’ve got the rules down, but before they joined us for a game, I had Kia’s “assistance” in a playtest on my own; I figured that it’d be best if at least one of us had a clue what we were doing to get things rolling.  She mostly rolled the dice for fun, played with the cardboard tokens (which she pretended were money), and told me how I should be playing the game… because she knows everything.  Four going on fourteen, I tell ya.  And, for those wondering, she’s doing some kind of curtsy-thing in the last panel.  She does that at random, no reason necessary.

I’m wearing my shirt with the definition of “Interesting” which was inspired by Firefly, as it happens (“oh god, oh god, we’re all going to die?”).  Wash is an amazing source of brilliant quotes.  Anyway, Kia is wearing a Twilight Sparkle dress, as she is very fond of My Little Pony, despite not having seen much, if anything, of the show.
