Fatherhood

Let me tell you how awesome it is that I can have conversations as incredibly nerdy as this with my wife.  😀  For those left behind by our geekery, we’re referencing a character from the show Firefly, who met a rather grisly fate, ending – as did both the show and our free time that week – far too quickly.  And, yes, it will always be “too soon.”  ;P

I’m wearing my Tron/Transformers mash-up shirt, starring Optimus Prime in neon glory, while Stacy’s got her Celtic knotwork Mjolnir design (the original “hammer time”).  The girls are in back, wearing confused expressions while they wonder what the hell we’re talking about.  One day they, too, will know the bittersweet love of Firefly.
