Fatherhood

Kia is a talker – which is to say she seriously can’t stay quiet for more than two minutes.  I mean, we frequent have her “hold her lips” to keep her quiet when she won’t stop rambling about EVERYTHING.  So, when it comes to keeping secrets?  Not so good at it.  We’ve managed to keep her from spoiling surprises by specifically stating that she is NOT to tell so-and-so about whatever we’ve gotten them, but that only deflects her from telling them that specific info.  Instead, she tells them about the shopping experience, what she didn’t get them, the colour of her the shirt she’s wearing at that exact moment, or whatever randomness pops into her head.  That said, she sure says some damned funny stuff when she’s babbling.  😉

I’m wearing a Batman logo… in case you couldn’t tell – which is one of the shirts that the girls DID get me for Father’s Day, but I would absolutely be wearing a Deadpoodle shirt, had they been able to find one.  Kia’s wearing her Frozen nightgown, which was previously almost-sorta-seen in 276, but this time you can at least see PART of the artwork on it.  ;P
