Fatherhood

They both love drawing, and they’re pretty decent at it, considering their age and lack of any real teaching for it, and they’re certainly creative with their story-telling (mostly visual, in Arwyn’s case).  For their Peter Pan story, they’ve got themselves (as kitticorns), Teddy and Flynn as cat-people, Peter as a bear, and Peter’s shadow as a… shadow bear, I guess.  I will happily continue to encourage their artistic endeavours.  Arwyn, in particular, gets down on herself because other people draw better than her, but I keep telling her that even those famous, fantastic artists had to start somewhere; maybe it was kitticorns.

I’m wearing a Firefly-inspired shirt that says “Big Damn Heroes”; I need no reason to wear Firefly shirts.  Kia’s doing the mermaid thing again and, speaking of kitticorns, Arwyn’s dress has little kitticorn faces all over it.
