Fatherhood 495
We took them to a pre-Halloween community trick-or-treat event and let them have at it, with fantastic results (and, yes, they were masked up, so you can barely even see them in there). They would run between stalls whenever there wasn’t anyone in front of us, which was hilarious because their knees were inside the costumes, so Kia did these rapid, tiny steps (I seriously thought she would trip a couple times, but she kept herself upright!), while Arwyn was more of a hopping waddle. If that sounds amusing, trust me, it was even funnier to actually see. They were a pretty big hit with adults and kids alike, especially the really little ones who were ecstatic to see a giant kitty and unicorn, so the girls were happily waving and saying hello to every kid they passed, sharing the joy. Their Aunt Laurie got in on the act with her own inflatable unicorn, so it was quite the show.
I’m wearing my Back to the Nightmare mash-up, featuring Skellington and a Delorean, while Stacy has her Girl Genius “Happy Samhain” shirt, so we’re all in the holiday spirit here. I think I already said enough about the girls’ outfits. 😉
I hope you got video 8)
Naturally! It’s funniest in motion!
