Fatherhood

Was I ever that excited to see snow?  Maybe when I was their age, but I’m not sure I was even then.  I’ve never been a fan of cold (which some would say is weird for a Canadian, but I’m from southern Canada, damn it!) and I really started hating snow when I’d have to shovel out our gravel driveway, then shovel a path all the way out of our alley to keep the car from getting stuck.  So, yeah, I’ll take the warm snow!  ;P  The girls?  Snow is pure magic to their minds.
