And welcome to 2021!  And to roller-skating!  Here’s hoping that neither of them turn out to be particularly dangerous.  😛  Kia really was pretty excited about the pads, and fascinated by the wrist/palm guards, though they only had the knee pads on for their first time rolling on the carpet, and none the second.  Carpet already gives some padding, but we’ve told them several times that they’ll be good for keeping their skin from getting torn up on pavement.

I’m getting one last Christmas shirt in with my Darth Santa sweater, while Stacy’s starting the new year off in black – though definitely not to mourn the passing of 2020.  In case you can’t guess, Arwyn’s got the purple skates, and Kia’s got the teal.  Also, it looks like Kia’s about to fall over, but she managed to make it through the photo session without hitting the ground.  Arwyn, on the other hand, made one landing on her butt due to trying to make awkward, silly poses.
