Fatherhood 542
Laundry is a never-ending battle, as any parent knows, but the worst part is having to be cognizant of what load I put into the wash after their glittery goodness has contaminated everything. It’s bad enough that I end up with random glitter on my arms or shirt from their hugs, but I really don’t need a touch of sparkle to my work clothes. No, mom, I don’t. I know you’re thinking it. The girls, naturally, don’t see an issue with this.
My shirt reveals the many Expressions of Vader, none of which involve sparkle, and Stacy’s wearing her green floral pattern as we try to hold on to a bit of summer. The girls, thankfully, are not wearing their glittery outfits, though Arwyn’s does feature a flip-sequin deer (and her backpack that she wanted to show off), and Kia’s wearing a cat-face dress, which has actual pockets that got both girls very excited.
