Fatherhood

There wasn’t as many students as past years, but we figure that the looming threat of rain kept a lot of people away, especially those that would’ve had to travel further.  Even so, the girls had fun and we got to talk to several of their teachers, including Kia’s for next year.  Kia’s going into middle school, which I guess is a big deal here?  Didn’t have that Canada, so I don’t get it, but it looks like she’s going to have a good group of instructors, so she’ll be fine.  Also, I need to spend more time with the girls, kicking around a soccer ball or something, because they were pretty bad.  😉  At least they had a lot of fun, which is the important thing.

My shirt says “Sarcasm – it beats killing people.”  It’s true!  Arwyn is wearing her rocketship-themed Princess Awesome dress, and Kia’s shirt features a very-hard-to-see unicorn made out of sequins (it’s like it has camouflage, which makes me concerned that it may be a predator).
