Fatherhood

Marcus is a long-time friend of mine, but we just finally got our girls together recently, which lead to instant bonding and frequent requests to know when they can see each other again.  CCCC (C4?  Kaboom?) was a great opportunity for that and the quartet spent as much time together as we let them.  His girls weren’t dressed up (this time), but Kia wore her Kiki’s Delivery Service costume (and got excitedly recognized a LOT), while Arwyn wanted a chance to wear the Nausicca outfit from a few years back, so double Ghibli.  A much smaller con than GR has, but also very chill and still fun.  Got to see some friends we haven’t seen in a very long time, as well as support local artists, so a great time all around.  And, yes, Arwyn wants all the animals.

I’m wearing a shirt I got when we stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge a while back, which shows various types of wolf attacks, from claws to pile drivers and the “tent slam” (WWE must stand for “Wolf Wrestling Entertainment).  Stacy’s shirt says “Although the voices aren’t real, they have some pretty good ideas.”  I mean, sometimes you have to listen to your inner voice, right?  Anyway, Kia’s wearing a dress with a pattern of clouds on sky blue, while Arwyn is wearing the shirt she got on her sixth birthday, featuring a dabbing unicorn and “Awesome since 2014.”  She barely fits it, but she’s not giving it up, yet!  😛
