They reconnected with some kids that they’d met before, met plenty of new kids, and had themselves a lot of fun, but the giant bounce pillow was definitely the highlight for them.  They had what Kia refered to as their “girl squad” that they bounced with and “rescued” whenever someone was sliding down the pillow slope.  It should also be noted that they are very friendly with everyone they meet at these field trips, regardless of age, and anyone who wants to join in their fun is completely welcome, which is always great to see.  We got to talk with a few other parents, as well, which was nice, and gave some tips/info to a couple that were ned to the whole online school thing.

I’m wearing my Planet of the Apes shirt, which very appropriately declares “It’s a madhouse!  A madhouse!”  It absolutely it.  Stacy’s wearing her Tree of Life knotwork design, while the girls are wearing outfits that I think are some kind of hippy chic revival – they’re both flower themed with tops and pants, although Kia’s is blue with small, white flowers, while Arwyn’s has big, orange and pink flowers on the pants and is just peach on the blouse.
