Fatherhood

It’s still a little weird walking down there and everything being different than it had been for years, but it’s a really nice change.  The girls can now skate laps around the loveseat we’ve got down there, plus game on the TV without being in the way of people walking through it – and more room for friends!  The only downside of it is that I used to like hiding in the hallway when the girls and I would chase each other around the house and surprise them at the doorway, which is no longer there.  On the flipside, I can now hide behind the loveseat, so long as the lights are off.  Yes, I’ve already done that to them, once.  😉

I’m wearing one of my Firefly-themed shirts, this one proclaiming “We live in a spaceship, dear.”  Since it’s been wonderfully warm, everyone else is in short-sleeves, as well, with Stacy wearing a very green, floral print, Kia in a tie-dye dress, and Arwyn wearing a unicorn pattern dress.  Of course, we’re about to go back to the dead of winter, so we’ll have to wait for second spring to get these out again.
