Fatherhood 684
So, this group of five or six girls goes running out onto the field to talk to the woman who was coordinating the event and she is ALL in on it. She had a loudspeaker and called the teachers right back out, then called for any other students that wanted to join in; there were so many that they had to break it down by school level. Now, even with like fifteen elementary kids, they couldn’t match up against six adults, but they gave it their all, as did the middle-schoolers. The high school kids actually did alright, but were tiring out fast – and it turned out that the teacher anchoring the line is also a firefighter, so they had no real chance at dragging the guy… until two of Arwyn’s teachers ran up and started pushing him from behind. Cheating? Damn right, but it was great to watch. 😀
I’m wearing my Rock’em Sock’em Terminators shirt, which may not be quite how the tug of war went, but it’s kinda-sorta close. 😛 Anyway, Stacy dressed up a little nicer with her green, knit vest, which would’ve worked well on the day in question, as it was pretty chilly in the morning. Don’t think we’ll have to worry about that again anytime soon. Kia’s wearing her teal Panama Beach shirt with the dolphin design, and Arwyn’s dress is covered in butterflies; she’s all about the summer dresses.
